CARBOPOL ULTREZ 21

CARBOPOL ULTREZ 21 is a fluffy, white powder acrylic acid polymer that forms viscous gels and emulsions. It has a slightly acetic odor. As an active ingredient, it can provide thickening and suspension benefits. CARBOPOL ULTREZ 21 has a minimum viscosity of 45,000 mPa-s and maximum of 65,000 mPa-s when prepared as a mucilage at pH 5.8 to 6.3. Its clarity is at least 92% transmission at 420nm wavelength in mucilage form. It has benefits in products requiring stability, clarity and suspension without residue. CARBOPOL ULTREZ 21 is suitable for applications requiring controlled rheology.
